Words cannot describe the heavenly softness of these genuine alpaca bears. Bunny rabbit? No- softer than that. Cotton balls? No- softer than that. We have seen grown-ups melt before our very eyes as soon as they touch an alpaca bear: "Ohhhh, I never dreamed it would feel this soft!"
These are the finest alpaca teddy bears we have found, featuring genuine suede noses and paws, and glass eyes. Hand-selected for their quality, the soft, supple pelts will retain their fur for years- and they smell good! These are not the cheapest alpaca bears you can find, but you'll be pleased with their high quality. A special tanning process means these bears can be gently hand-washed in cold water.
In the highlands of Peru and Bolivia, the highest quality baby-grade alpaca is selected by experts. Peruvian artisans, descendants of the ancient Incan peoples, handcraft these bears to exacting specifications.
NOTE: Lanart brand bears are constructed in compliance with U.S. standards for child safety as outlined by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Lanart bears and soft-sculptured animals are created from the pelts of young alpacas which have succumbed to the harsh environmental conditions of the high Andes Mountains- the ultimate in recycling. No alpacas were harmed in the making of these bears.
